Bonnie is the first person that you will contact in our office. She can answer your questions about office procedure. A mother and grandmother in the grandest sense, her family is a model to be emulated. A dedicated Christian, she demonstrates her faith by providing communion to shut-ins. Her attitude at our office in carrying out her tasks reflects the systematic and thorough care giving reflected in her home. Recently completing an college degree while wearing many hats at home and at her job, I feel privileged to call her a colleague and member of the team.
Patty is an RN with whom I have worked with for the last 15 years. An acute care nurse with extensive critical care experience, we worked together for ten years in our local Emergency Department. Beginning to work in my private office 7 years ago, we have teamed up under many circumstances from the elective and planned to the most extreme emergency. Patty and I have handled them both and everything in between. Fortunately, our practice now focuses on the elective and low risk approaches with the goal being to avoid crisis management.
In addition to being competent, Patty is one of the most caring and compassionate individuals I have ever known. This does not diminish in any way her technical skills. A CPR instructor for 25 years, she is an IV nurse beyond compare. Her technique and skill is a backbone of our IV therapy, making the patient as comfortable as possible with one of our most valuable interventions.
When she is not caring for patients, Patty is caring for her horse. An avid horsewoman, you can find her with her second love most anytime she is not working.
A short term goal is the development of our RN-case manager concept. This person provides organizational direction at the patient and physician level. As a coach for the patients, the goal is to keep on task, helping to manage the prioritized protocol applications as determined by the patient and physician. .
You and I identify those systems requiring attention. We then educate you on your condition and chose, with you, the appropriate protocol. We provide encouragement without condemnation. Our goal is to enhance and optimize your health. My team is a gift from God in this effort. Come join us.
